How to use the Instagram Highlights Downloader
Direct download of Instagram highlights is not available here: highlights are not retrievable without login, which this site does not bypass. This tool organises highlight assets you own: upload several images, preview them, choose which ones to keep, mark a cover, and download the selection individually or as a ZIP.
Steps
- Choose up to 20 image files you own or are authorised to use (30 MB each).
- Preview the grid. Untick any image you do not want to keep.
- Select Set as cover on the image you want as the highlight cover.
- Download the selected images individually, or all together as a ZIP in grid order.
Supported inputs and outputs
- Inputs: browser-decodable images (PNG, JPEG, WebP; GIF as a still image).
- Selection: only ticked images are included in downloads and in the ZIP.
- Cover: a visual marker on your chosen image. Choosing the actual cover inside Instagram still happens in the Instagram app.
- ZIP: an uncompressed archive with your selected images numbered in grid order.
- Your files are never uploaded to the server by this tool.
Troubleshooting
- An unticked image is intentionally excluded from the ZIP. Tick it again if you want it included.
- If a file is rejected, it is not an image or it exceeds 30 MB. Choose a supported image file.
- The ZIP is stored without compression, so its size is close to the sum of the selected files. That is expected.
Frequently asked questions
Can I download a highlight from an Instagram profile by link?
No. Highlights are not accessible to this site without login, so the tool works with files you supply instead.
What does the cover marker do?
It marks which image you intend to use as the cover. You still set the cover inside Instagram when you create the highlight.
Are my images uploaded?
No. Selection, preview, and ZIP creation all happen in your browser.
