Paste or upload
Check a link's format, extract audio from a video file you provide, or choose local audio files.
Paste a public Instagram Reel or video link to preview it and save the MP4 video or MP3 audio — or use the free browser tools below to trim, merge, or convert audio you already own. No account needed, and your local files never leave your device.
Supported formats depend on your browser.
Upload a video file you own or are allowed to use. Audio extraction happens in your browser; this does not fetch media from an Instagram URL.
The output format depends on your browser (usually WebM/Opus). This does not promise MP3 output. Keep this page open until extraction finishes.
Browser-side processing exports PCM WAV. The size-reduction option converts to mono 22.05 kHz PCM, which can reduce WAV size but is not MP3 encoding. Large files may exceed browser memory.

Extraction and audio editing run in your browser. Your local files are not uploaded to this server.
Download appears only after processing succeeds. Output type depends on the selected tool and browser support.
If you have ever lost a brilliant Reel sound to the endless scroll and spent far too long trying to find that Reel again, this page is for that exact moment. Paste the link of a public Reel or video you own or have permission to save, and this site prepares the video and its audio for you to preview and download.
There are two separate paths here, and keeping them straight saves confusion. The link workflow sends your pasted URL to this site's server, which prepares an MP4 video and an MP3 audio file for a short time. The audio tools below it work entirely in your browser: you upload a file you already own, edit it on your own device, and nothing is sent to the server. Neither path asks for your Instagram password, and neither one can open private or login-restricted content.
Only submit links for content you own or have permission to download, and only when the post is publicly accessible. A link that is private, removed, or restricted will fail honestly rather than pretending to work.
When the server workflow succeeds, the result includes an MP3 audio file alongside the MP4 video — that is the Instagram to MP3 path on this site. The audio is encoded at a high-quality variable bitrate from the source, so what you hear matches what the original post sounded like; nothing is enhanced or upscaled.
The MP3 option appears only when processing actually produces it. If a link fails, or if a result shows only one format, that is the real outcome for that link — the page never invents a download button for a file that does not exist. For audio you already have as a file, the browser tools below export WAV instead; see the next sections for why the two paths give different formats.
Looking for just the audio? Use the Instagram to MP3 Converter page, which uses the same server workflow, or start from the Reels Downloader for Reel links specifically.
Links that can work: HTTPS links from instagram.com or m.instagram.com with a /reel/, /reels/, /p/, or /tv/ path — in other words, public Reels, videos, and posts with video. Outputs from the link workflow: MP4 video and MP3 audio, when the source can be retrieved and converted.
Browser tools on this page handle files you upload yourself and export PCM WAV (trimming, merging, conversion, and ringtones). Extracting audio from a video file in the browser may produce WebM/Opus or another browser-supported format instead of MP3.
What does not work here: private accounts and posts, anything that needs an Instagram login, Stories and Highlights by link, and profile pictures by link (the DP Downloader explains its current platform block). Photo, story, highlight, and carousel retrieval by link is likewise unavailable — those pages offer browser tools for your own images instead. Video quality is always the best the source provides; a 4K file appears only when the source actually offers 4K, as the 4K Downloader page explains.
MP3 is compressed audio: small files that play almost everywhere, ideal for listening on your phone or keeping a sound for later. WAV is mostly uncompressed audio: larger files, but easier to edit precisely, which is why the browser tools export WAV. WebM/Opus is a modern compressed format some browsers produce when extracting audio from a video file; it sounds good and stays small, but not every player or editor accepts it.
One rule covers all three: the quality you get can never exceed the quality of the original. A quiet, muffled Reel will not come back as studio audio, and a standard-definition video will not become 4K. If a file sounds or looks worse than you expected, that is almost always the source, not the conversion.
Only download content you own or have permission to save, and respect the creator's rights and Instagram's terms. A link you paste is sent to this site's server for temporary processing only; the resulting files expire after 30 minutes. Files you edit in the browser tools never leave your device — they are not uploaded to this server at all.
Never enter an Instagram password, session cookie, or verification code anywhere on this site; no genuine feature here asks for them. This website is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by Instagram or Meta.
Copy the Reel's full public link, paste it into the field at the top of this page, and select Get Video + Audio. When processing succeeds, use the MP3 audio download link in the result.
Yes, when the server workflow can retrieve and convert the source. The MP3 option appears in the result only when it has actually been produced.
The MP3 comes from the server link workflow and is ready for listening. The WAV tools run in your browser on files you upload, and export uncompressed WAV for editing, trimming, merging, or making a ringtone.
HTTPS links from instagram.com or m.instagram.com with a /reel/, /reels/, /p/, or /tv/ path. Profile pages, Stories, Highlights, and hashtag pages are not supported by the link workflow.
No. Private, login-restricted, removed, and Story content cannot be retrieved here, and this site does not attempt to bypass those protections.
Most failures come down to four causes: the link is incomplete or unsupported, the post is private or removed, Instagram is restricting the request, or the request timed out. Check the URL, confirm the post is public, and try again later if needed.
Results from the link workflow expire after 30 minutes. After that, submit the original Instagram link again to generate fresh download links.
No. The browser audio tools process your files on your own device. Only the link workflow sends anything to the server — the pasted URL itself — for temporary processing.
No account is needed for publicly accessible links, and you should never enter an Instagram password here. Content that requires login cannot be processed.
